TFRRS Track & Field CSV Format

A TFRRS Track & Field Results CSV file ends with ".csv" or ".txt". Values are separated with a comma, semi-colon or tab. Common spreadsheet programs like Excel can save as CSV. Do not use a header line.


There should be one file per meet, with all events included (distinguished by Event Number and Event Name-see below).

Columns

The CSV Format uses the following columns, in order:

2 TFRRS ID Required only for NCAA athletes
3 team name leave blank for unattached Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
4 team code leave blank for unattached Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
5 first name Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
6 last name Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
7 gender "m" or "f" Required if TFRRS ID is not provided, and for all relays
8 year either the year of graduation, FR,SO,JR,SR or grade number
9 date of birth YYYY-MM-DD, though other common format will work
10 event code See event codes. Required.
11 event name
12 event division integer required if there are multiple events of the same type and gender
13 event min age
14 event max age
15 sub event code leave this column blank if this is not a sub event result Required.
16 mark seconds, meters, inches, or points Required.
17 metric 1 if the mark is in meters, otherwise 0 Required.
18 fat 1 if automatic timing, otherwise 0 Required.
19 place Required.
20 score Required.
21 heat Required.
22 heat place Required.
23 round P, Q, S, F Required.
24 points if this is a sub event of a multi event, otherwise blank
25 wind like "-3.3" or "1.2", leave blank if no wind reading.
26 relay squad Required.
27 Relay Athlete #1 First Name Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
28 Relay Athlete #1 Last Name Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
29 Relay Athlete #1 bib Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
30 Relay Athlete #1 TFRRS ID Required only for NCAA athletes
31 Relay Athlete #2 First Name Required if TFRRS ID is not provided
